UPF 50+ SUN HOODIE FOR THE TRAIL

Never Reapply Sunscreen Mid-Hike

Zip on the NoSweat Sun Hoodie and get full UV coverage that doesn't need topping up at the next overlook.

Rated 4.9 by 1,800+ Customers

You Know This Feeling By Mile Three

You lather up before the trailhead. By the first climb it's dripping into your eyes and your palms are too slick to grip your poles. So you skip the reapply. By the time you're back at the car, your neck and shoulders are burning anyway, and you did everything the bottle told you to.

  • Sunscreen sweats into your eyes on the climbs
  • Greasy hands make your poles, and your phone, slide
  • No mirror, no free hand, no good spot to reapply mid-trail

One Layer, Zipped On At The Trailhead

Here's what's actually happening under the fabric.

1

Zip It On

Full-zip hoodie goes on over your base layer in five seconds, hood up, thumbholes over your hands.

2

Blocks 98% Of UV

UPF 50+ fabric covers your arms, shoulders, neck and head, so there's nothing left to slather.

3

Breathes While You Climb

Lightweight, moisture-wicking material lets heat escape, so you're not trading sunburn for overheating on the switchbacks.

Built For What Actually Happens On Trail

  • Thumbhole Cuffs

Keep your hands covered while you're gripping poles, no fabric bunching up your sleeve.

  • Zip-Up Hood

Pulls up over a cap for your face and neck, drops down the second you hit shade.

  • UPF 50+ Fabric

Blocks 98% of UV rays, so covered skin is covered, not kind of covered.

  • Lightweight and Breathable

Built to move heat, not trap it, even climbing in full sun.

  • Packs Down Small

Folds into a daypack, a beach bag, or the back of your car for whenever the sun catches you off guard.

Hikers Who Stopped Packing Sunscreen

"I used to carry a bottle of SPF just for my arms and shoulders. Now I zip this on at the trailhead and forget about it until the car."

Dana, weekend hiker

"My hands used to be so greasy from sunscreen I could barely hold my poles. The thumbholes fixed that completely."

Renee

"Wore it on a nine mile loop in full sun and never once felt like I needed to take it off to cool down."

Katie

"The hood actually stays up over my cap instead of falling down every five minutes like my old one did."

Priya

Still Have Questions?

Will I overheat wearing a hoodie on a hot hike?

The fabric is built to breathe and wick moisture, so heat escapes as you move. It's designed for full sun on exposed trail sections, not for sitting still in a sauna. Most hikers wear it over just a base layer or tank in summer conditions.

Do I still need sunscreen on my face?

The hoodie covers your arms, shoulders, neck and head under the hood. For skin it doesn't cover, like your face and hands outside the thumbholes, we'd still recommend your usual sunscreen or a hat with a brim.

What size should I order?

It runs true to size. If you want extra room to layer a base layer or long sleeve underneath, size up one.

Will it hold up on rocky trails and repeated washing?

The fabric and stitching are built for regular outdoor use, not a one season piece. Machine wash cold and skip the dryer heat to keep the UPF rating and fit intact longest.

Can I wear it for anything besides hiking?

It's built for the trail, but it works the same on the water, at the beach, walking the dog, or any day you're outside longer than your sunscreen wants to last.

What if it doesn't work for me?

You have 90 days to return it if it's not the right fit or you're not using it. See the details on the product page above.
